Terramate CLI 0.16.0, released by Terramate GmbH as the second public build of the open-source Infrastructure as Code orchestration platform, unifies, simplifies and scales infrastructure code, tools and workflows without adding abstraction layers. The tool introduces the concept of Stacks—tool-agnostic, isolated units that group, deploy and manage anything from a single service to an entire environment—then orchestrates commands such as terraform apply, kubectl apply or infracost breakdown across those stacks in the correct order. Pre-configured yet fully customizable GitOps automation workflows plug directly into existing CI/CD pipelines, while a built-in workflow engine lets operators combine multiple commands into single executable units. Configuration reuse is handled through variables and metadata defined once and inherited by every affected stack, and a code-generation facility keeps projects DRY by producing Terraform provider blocks, Kubernetes manifests or any other template automatically. Because Terramate stays within native tooling, integrations with OPA, Infracost, Checkov, Trivy, Terrascan, Terragrunt and countless other utilities work out of the box.
